About Plumbers Basingstoke

Trusted Drainage Specialists in Basingstoke and surrounding areas

Plumbers Basingstoke is a drainage callout service covering Basingstoke, Tadley, Whitchurch, Overton, Hook, Kingsclere, Bramley, Sherborne St John, and Old Basing. We work on blocked drains, CCTV surveys, high-pressure jetting, pipe repairs, and trenchless relining, with emergency callouts available around the clock.

Basingstoke itself sits on chalk geology, which is a genuinely different problem to the clay soil most of southern England drains through — chalk is porous and can develop voids and slow subsidence over time, which puts uneven pressure on older pipe runs rather than the seasonal swelling clay causes. That means a CCTV survey here is often checking for something specific to the local ground, not generic wear. The picture varies across our coverage area too: Overton and Whitchurch sit along the River Test, so riverside properties there can face a higher water table, while Kingsclere and Old Basing's older, village-core properties carry drainage laid down long before modern standards existed.

We carry CCTV cameras, jetting equipment, and trenchless relining kit on every callout, so most of these problems can be diagnosed and fixed in a single visit, whatever the property's age or the ground it sits on.

On pricing: we give a fixed quote before any work starts and do not charge a call-out fee. If more work turns out to be needed than first thought, we say so and confirm the new price before continuing.

If you have a drainage problem, request a quote through our online form. Our friendly team is ready to help, day or night, and we will call you back promptly during business hours.
