How saniflo & macerator repair works in Sherborne St John
1
Diagnose the fault
We identify the exact symptom. Specifically, it could be humming but not flushing, running non-stop, grinding, leaking, or no power. This helps us narrow down which part of the unit has failed.
2
Repair
We repair the blade, motor, seal, or float switch as needed. However, for an older unit we may advise on replacement where that makes more sense. We quote a fixed price either way.
3
Test in normal use
We flush the unit and run it through several full cycles. Specifically, this confirms it clears waste properly. It also confirms the fault has not come back before we leave.
Our approach in Sherborne St John
We identify the exact symptom first. Specifically, it may hum but not flush, run non-stop, grind, leak, or lose power. This helps us narrow down which part has failed. We repair the blade, motor, seal, or float switch as needed.
However, for an older unit we may advise on replacement. The rural feel means some homes have longer drainage runs. These runs reach the public sewer network.
Local tip: Meanwhile, stop pressing the flush if your unit hums but does not flush. Cycling a stalled motor again and again can burn it out. Kiln Road and Elm Road are local landmarks.
